Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Pharmaceutical Industry and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which rose 5.60% or 1.35 points to trade at 25.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Micro Data SA (CS:MIC) added 2.61% or 6.50 points to end at 256.00 and Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) was up 2.45% or 4.50 points to 188.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oulmes (CS:OULM), which fell 5.76% or 110 points to trade at 1800 at the close. Colorado (CS:COL) declined 4.52% or 3.39 points to end at 71.60 and Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) was down 4.27% or 7.20 points to 161.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 21 to 12 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.37% or 0.21 to $57.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.81% or 0.52 to hit $63.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.51 to trade at $1276.09 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.32% to 11.0320, while USD/MAD rose 0.02% to 9.5326.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.85.
