Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Real Estate, Forestry & Paper and Pharmaceutical Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CSE:JET), which rose 9.31% or 108.00 points to trade at 1,268.00 at the close. Meanwhile, IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) added 8.29% or 2.90 points to end at 37.90 and Involys (CSE:INV) was up 4.37% or 4.20 points to 100.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR), which fell 4.79% or 2.49 points to trade at 49.50 at the close. Atlanta (CSE:ATL) declined 4.32% or 6.00 points to end at 133.00 and SMI (CSE:SMI) was down 4.20% or 92.00 points to 2,100.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 29 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) rose to all time highs; up 9.31% or 108.00 to 1,268.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.48% or 1.75 to $68.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.30% or 1.71 to hit $72.74 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 26.10 to trade at $2,733.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.08% to 10.74, while USD/MAD fell 0.06% to 9.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 103.37.
