Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Utilities and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU), which rose 2.41% or 3.95 points to trade at 167.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) added 1.78% or 0.90 points to end at 51.50 and Risma (CS:RIS) was up 1.46% or 2.10 points to 146.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Involys (CS:INV), which fell 4.97% or 7.40 points to trade at 141.50 at the close. Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) declined 3.76% or 0.95 points to end at 24.30 and Snep (CS:SNP) was down 2.49% or 16.90 points to 661.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.65% or 0.36 to $55.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.53% or 0.33 to hit $61.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.55 to trade at $1278.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.01% to 11.1140, while USD/MAD fell 0.01% to 9.4215.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 93.74.
