Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Transport, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.24% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CS:JET), which rose 9.47% or 27.00 points to trade at 312.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) added 9.15% or 4.60 points to end at 54.85 and BMCI (CS:BMCI) was up 7.91% or 55 points to 750 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CTM (CS:CTM), which fell 9.95% or 97.50 points to trade at 882.50 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) declined 7.50% or 120 points to end at 1480 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) was down 5.77% or 7.60 points to 124.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 21 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jet Contractors (CS:JET) rose to all time highs; rising 9.47% or 27.00 to 312.00. Shares in BMCI (CS:BMCI) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.91% or 55 to 750.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.19% or 0.10 to $51.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.56% or 0.32 to hit $56.84 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.81 to trade at $1285.89 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.05% to 11.1170, while USD/MAD fell 0.19% to 9.4102.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 93.02.
