Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Beverage, Real Estate and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE:SOT), which rose 9.97% or 96.00 points to trade at 1,059.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Auto Hall (CSE:ATH) added 9.17% or 6.30 points to end at 75.00 and Involys (CSE:INV) was up 3.94% or 4.00 points to 105.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM), which fell 6.98% or 37.00 points to trade at 493.00 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) declined 5.71% or 2.27 points to end at 37.50 and Ennakl Automobiles (CSE:NKL) was down 4.12% or 1.51 points to 35.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 23 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.58% or 2.46 to $66.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.17% or 2.28 to hit $69.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 6.95 to trade at $2,539.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.08% to 10.75, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.00% to 9.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 101.69.
