Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Utilities and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Zellidja S.A (CSE:ZDJ), which rose 5.99% or 4.26 points to trade at 75.36 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR) added 4.95% or 5.00 points to end at 106.00 and Micro Data SA (CSE:MIC) was up 4.12% or 26.00 points to 657.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Wafa Assurance (CSE:WAA), which fell 2.47% or 100.00 points to trade at 3,950.00 at the close. CTM (CSE:CTM) declined 2.24% or 15.10 points to end at 657.90 and CFG Bank SA (CSE:CFG) was down 2.00% or 3.20 points to 156.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Wafa Assurance (CSE:WAA) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.47% or 100.00 to 3,950.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.17% or 0.91 to $78.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.04% or 0.86 to hit $83.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 10.85 to trade at $2,338.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.45% to 10.70, while USD/MAD fell 0.35% to 9.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 105.13.
