Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Insurance and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CDM (CS:CDM), which rose 3.40% or 18 points to trade at 548 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) added 2.61% or 4.00 points to end at 157.00 and Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) was up 2.22% or 33 points to 1520 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saham Assurance (CS:SAH), which fell 6.13% or 98 points to trade at 1500 at the close. Rebab Company (CS:REBA) declined 5.92% or 9.00 points to end at 143.00 and M2M Group (CS:M2M) was down 5.08% or 18.80 points to 351.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 15 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in CDM (CS:CDM) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.40% or 18 to 548.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.86% or 0.45 to $52.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.34% or 0.20 to hit $58.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.24 to trade at $1279.54 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.14% to 11.1190, while USD/MAD fell 0.25% to 9.4170.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 93.53.
