Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 3.45% or 5.40 points to trade at 162.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alliances (CS:ADI) added 3.21% or 8 points to end at 270 and Timar (CS:TIM) was up 3.09% or 7.00 points to 233.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM), which fell 5.94% or 17.95 points to trade at 284.00 at the close. Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) declined 5.75% or 1.54 points to end at 25.25 and Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) was down 3.24% or 5.50 points to 164.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 17 to 15 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.20% or 1.25 to $55.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.15% or 1.36 to hit $61.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.46 to trade at $1278.44 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.28% to 11.1040, while USD/MAD fell 0.60% to 9.4333.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 93.89.
