Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Transport, Food Producers & Processors and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were S2M (CS:S2M), which rose 7.55% or 20.00 points to trade at 285.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Micro Data SA (CS:MIC) added 7.20% or 19.30 points to end at 287.50 and Med Paper (CS:PAP) was up 5.26% or 1.10 points to 22.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SMI (CS:SMI), which fell 5.63% or 103 points to trade at 1727 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) declined 5.11% or 80 points to end at 1485 and Cosumar (CS:CSMR) was down 2.53% or 4 points to 174.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 15 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.80% or 1.22 to $69.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.81% or 1.35 to hit $76.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.61% or 19.20 to trade at $1213.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.28% to 10.9670, while USD/MAD fell 0.46% to 9.4303.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 95.00.
