Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Software & Computer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Med Paper (CS:PAP), which rose 9.98% or 2.92 points to trade at 32.17 at the close. Meanwhile, Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) added 2.96% or 54.0 points to end at 1879.0 and Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO) was up 2.48% or 0.80 points to 33.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CDM (CS:CDM), which fell 5.17% or 30 points to trade at 550 at the close. Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) declined 5.15% or 2.77 points to end at 51.00 and Saham Assurance (CS:SAH) was down 4.16% or 64 points to 1476.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 18 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) rose to all time highs; up 2.96% or 54.0 to 1879.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.44% or 0.25 to $56.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.14% or 0.09 to hit $62.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 6.79 to trade at $1282.09 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.03% to 11.1020, while USD/MAD fell 0.14% to 9.4472.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 93.91.
