Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Insurance and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Label Vie (CS:LBV), which rose 7.35% or 150 points to trade at 2190 at the close. Meanwhile, Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) added 6.08% or 2.39 points to end at 41.69 and Auto Nejma (CS:NEJ1) was up 5.96% or 120 points to 2134 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BMCI (CS:BMCI), which fell 9.99% or 76 points to trade at 686 at the close. Saham Assurance (CS:SAH) declined 8.25% or 125 points to end at 1390 and Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) was down 7.76% or 8.13 points to 96.67.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 21 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.07% or 0.78 to $73.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.32% or 0.25 to hit $77.14 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 2.50 to trade at $1256.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.15% to 11.0820, while USD/MAD fell 0.29% to 9.4382.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 93.75.
