Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Chemicals and Forestry & Paper sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 4.56% or 4.85 points to trade at 111.20 at the close. Meanwhile, LafargeHolcim Maroc (CS:LHM) added 2.40% or 47 points to end at 2007 and CTM (CS:CTM) was up 2.21% or 20.00 points to 925.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alliances (CS:ADI), which fell 6.25% or 10 points to trade at 150 at the close. Maghreb Oxygene (CS:OXYG) declined 5.95% or 10.30 points to end at 162.70 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) was down 4.24% or 0.78 points to 17.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 11 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.28% or 0.19 to $68.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.35% or 0.26 to hit $73.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 7.10 to trade at $1312.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.10% to 11.1960, while USD/MAD fell 0.24% to 9.3400.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 92.32.
