Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Utilities, Construction & Building Materials and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Auto Nejma (CSE:NEJ), which rose 6.00% or 117.00 points to trade at 2,068.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Dari Couspate SA (CSE:DRI) added 5.98% or 215.00 points to end at 3,808.00 and Involys (CSE:INV) was up 4.22% or 3.63 points to 89.62 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maghrebail (CSE:MAB), which fell 5.97% or 58.00 points to trade at 914.00 at the close. CDM (CSE:CDM) declined 5.00% or 45.80 points to end at 870.00 and Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX) was down 4.56% or 9.75 points to 204.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 25 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dari Couspate SA (CSE:DRI) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.98% or 215.00 to 3,808.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.18% or 0.15 to $82.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.27% or 0.23 to hit $85.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 4.80 to trade at $2,358.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.18% to 10.66, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.02% to 9.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 104.88.
