Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Food Producers & Processors, Forestry & Paper and Distributors sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.07% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 5.99% or 306 points to trade at 5416 at the close. Meanwhile, Atlanta (CS:ATL) added 5.70% or 3.85 points to end at 71.35 and Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) was up 3.33% or 50 points to 1550 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which fell 5.99% or 9.65 points to trade at 151.45 at the close. SMI (CS:SMI) declined 5.96% or 143 points to end at 2257 and Cosumar (CS:CSMR) was down 5.26% or 9 points to 161.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 15 to 15 and 5 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.16% or 0.11 to $67.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.07% or 0.78 to hit $72.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 8.40 to trade at $1219.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.05% to 11.0330, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.4849.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 95.00.
