Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Beverage, Telecoms and Forestry & Paper sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC), which rose 9.97% or 3.86 points to trade at 42.56 at the close. Meanwhile, M2M Group (CSE:M2M) added 5.98% or 30.50 points to end at 540.50 and Salafin (CSE:SLF) was up 5.98% or 31.10 points to 551.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR), which fell 9.98% or 6.19 points to trade at 55.81 at the close. Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:RDS) declined 9.93% or 8.40 points to end at 76.20 and S2M (CSE:S2M) was down 9.31% or 25.50 points to 248.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 32 to 29 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.97% or 3.86 to 42.56.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.67% or 2.03 to $73.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.18% or 1.72 to hit $77.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 22.60 to trade at $2,537.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.05% to 10.77, while USD/MAD rose 0.10% to 9.72.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 101.49.
