Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Oil & Gas and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.01% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which rose 5.95% or 9.70 points to trade at 172.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Alliances (CS:ADI) added 4.91% or 6 points to end at 123 and Atlanta (CS:ATL) was up 3.40% or 2.60 points to 79.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA), which fell 4.93% or 83.0 points to trade at 1600.0 at the close. Sothema (CS:SOT) declined 4.37% or 80 points to end at 1750 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) was down 3.75% or 10.60 points to 272.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 19 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.32% or 1.55 to $68.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.64% or 1.99 to hit $77.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.10 to trade at $1301.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.44% to 11.0850, while USD/MAD fell 0.65% to 9.5050.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 94.06.
