Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Utilities and Insurance sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CSE:JET), which rose 9.94% or 126.00 points to trade at 1,394.00 at the close. Meanwhile, M2M Group (CSE:M2M) added 8.63% or 43.70 points to end at 550.00 and SMI (CSE:SMI) was up 6.19% or 130.00 points to 2,230.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC), which fell 9.97% or 3.78 points to trade at 34.12 at the close. Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT) declined 9.94% or 158.00 points to end at 1,432.00 and Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE:SNP) was down 5.00% or 25.00 points to 475.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 16 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) rose to all time highs; rising 9.94% or 126.00 to 1,394.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.06% or 0.73 to $69.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.86% or 0.63 to hit $73.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 4.40 to trade at $2,734.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.15% to 10.76, while USD/MAD rose 0.41% to 9.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 103.67.
