Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Forestry & Paper, Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Distributors sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CS:JET), which rose 5.72% or 11.00 points to trade at 203.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Med Paper (CS:PAP) added 4.61% or 0.71 points to end at 16.11 and Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) was up 4.10% or 3.90 points to 98.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Snep (CS:SNP), which fell 2.96% or 3.85 points to trade at 126.15 at the close. Colorado (CS:COL) declined 2.66% or 2.00 points to end at 73.00 and Alliances (CS:ADI) was down 1.02% or 1 points to 97.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Snep (CS:SNP) fell to all time lows; falling 2.96% or 3.85 to 126.15.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.46% or 1.47 to $58.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.59% or 1.66 to hit $62.15 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.92% or 10.90 to trade at $1174.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.39% to 10.8710, while USD/MAD rose 0.04% to 9.6497.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.41.
