Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 2.13% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CSE:JET), which rose 9.95% or 188.00 points to trade at 2,078.00 at the close. Meanwhile, CTM (CSE:CTM) added 9.94% or 109.00 points to end at 1,206.00 and Alliances (CSE:ADI) was up 8.33% or 40.00 points to 520.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lesieur Cristal (CSE:LES), which fell 3.33% or 10.00 points to trade at 290.00 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:SNA) declined 2.75% or 0.45 points to end at 15.92 and Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX) was down 2.04% or 5.00 points to 240.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 36 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.27% or 1.63 to $73.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.16% or 1.61 to hit $76.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 20.86 to trade at $2,661.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.89% to 10.45, while USD/MAD rose 0.29% to 10.12.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 108.76.
