Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Software & Computer Services and Holding Companies sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.43% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL), which rose 7.87% or 2.73 points to trade at 37.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Maghrebail (CS:MAB) added 5.99% or 48 points to end at 847 and Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO) was up 5.89% or 56 points to 1006 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CTM (CS:CTM), which fell 5.56% or 50.00 points to trade at 850.00 at the close. Involys (CS:INV) declined 4.18% or 5.00 points to end at 114.50 and Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU) was down 2.62% or 3.90 points to 145.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.09% or 0.56 to $52.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.73% or 0.44 to hit $60.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.10 to trade at $1226.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.15% to 10.7880, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.5432.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 96.965.
