Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Insurance and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO), which rose 7.76% or 2.47 points to trade at 34.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) added 5.05% or 4.95 points to end at 102.95 and Ciments Du Maroc (CS:SCM) was up 4.66% or 69 points to 1549 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA), which fell 3.25% or 39.0 points to trade at 1161.0 at the close. Salafin (CS:SLF) declined 2.54% or 26 points to end at 999 and Managem (CS:MNG) was down 2.52% or 31 points to 1199.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 17 to 13 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.53% or 0.38 to $71.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.40% or 0.32 to hit $81.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 11.60 to trade at $1187.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.25% to 10.9620, while USD/MAD rose 0.36% to 9.3920.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 94.43.
