Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Construction & Building Materials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI), which rose 5.99% or 202 points to trade at 3572 at the close. Meanwhile, Unimer (CS:UMR) added 5.98% or 10.05 points to end at 178.05 and CTM (CS:CTM) was up 5.06% or 40.00 points to 830.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alliances (CS:ADI), which fell 7.15% or 16 points to trade at 204 at the close. Sonasid (CS:SOND) declined 4.37% or 32 points to end at 701 and SMI (CS:SMI) was down 2.94% or 91 points to 3000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 25 to 15 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dari Couspate SA (CS:DRI) rose to all time highs; rising 5.99% or 202 to 3572.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.65% or 0.39 to $60.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.85% or 0.56 to hit $66.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 9.10 to trade at $1306.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.29% to 11.2360, while USD/MAD fell 0.35% to 9.3495.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 91.84.
