Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Construction & Building Materials and Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 9.97% or 14.65 points to trade at 161.65 at the close. Meanwhile, IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) added 4.37% or 5.50 points to end at 131.50 and Snep (CS:SNP) was up 3.64% or 23.20 points to 660.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lydec (CS:LYD), which fell 5.87% or 37.00 points to trade at 593.00 at the close. Atlanta (CS:ATL) declined 3.59% or 1.90 points to end at 51.00 and Disway SA (CS:DWY) was down 2.72% or 9.80 points to 350.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 17 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Snep (CS:SNP) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.64% or 23.20 to 660.20.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.16% or 0.54 to $46.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.14% or 0.07 to hit $51.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 5.01 to trade at $1320.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.12% to 11.1860, while USD/MAD fell 0.20% to 9.3105.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 91.97.
