Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Holding Companies, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC), which rose 5.88% or 2.00 points to trade at 36.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT) added 4.99% or 73.00 points to end at 1,535.00 and Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) was up 3.62% or 51.00 points to 1,458.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Auto Hall (CSE:ATH), which fell 2.72% or 1.90 points to trade at 68.00 at the close. S2M (CSE:S2M) declined 2.30% or 4.95 points to end at 210.00 and Sanlam Maroc SA (CSE:SAH) was down 2.29% or 44.00 points to 1,875.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 17 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jet Contractors (CSE:JET) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.62% or 51.00 to 1,458.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.03% or 0.72 to $70.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.98% or 0.73 to hit $75.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.80 to trade at $2,752.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.13% to 10.69, while USD/MAD rose 0.06% to 9.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 103.86.
