Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.28% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CTM (CSE:CTM), which rose 9.94% or 108.00 points to trade at 1,194.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Disty Technologies SA (CSE:DYT) added 9.66% or 28.00 points to end at 318.00 and Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX) was up 8.06% or 20.15 points to 270.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Involys (CSE:INV), which fell 7.43% or 7.80 points to trade at 97.20 at the close. Colorado (CSE:COL) declined 4.81% or 2.98 points to end at 59.00 and IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) was down 2.83% or 0.99 points to 34.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 34 to 18 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Disty Technologies SA (CSE:DYT) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.66% or 28.00 to 318.00. Shares in Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 8.06% or 20.15 to 270.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.37% or 1.01 to $74.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.23% or 0.94 to hit $77.45 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 11.06 to trade at $2,643.64 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.31% to 10.42, while USD/MAD fell 0.63% to 10.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 108.10.
