Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Transport and Beverage sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which rose 6.60% or 9.90 points to trade at 159.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Snep (CS:SNP) added 5.63% or 32.00 points to end at 599.90 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was up 5.14% or 36 points to 729 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI), which fell 5.98% or 9.10 points to trade at 143.20 at the close. Salafin (CS:SLF) declined 3.17% or 28 points to end at 868 and BMCI (CS:BMCI) was down 2.07% or 18 points to 850.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 20 to 16 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.52% or 0.86 to $57.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.95% or 1.21 to hit $63.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 3.60 to trade at $1249.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.08% to 11.1370, while USD/MAD fell 0.02% to 9.4662.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 93.95.
