Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Mining and Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Colorado (CS:COL), which rose 8.30% or 4.98 points to trade at 64.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) added 5.94% or 8.90 points to end at 158.80 and Sothema (CS:SOT) was up 5.18% or 93 points to 1889 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which fell 7.05% or 4.93 points to trade at 65.01 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) declined 5.69% or 7.00 points to end at 116.00 and CTM (CS:CTM) was down 5.52% or 49.70 points to 850.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 16 to 16 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) fell to all time lows; down 5.69% or 7.00 to 116.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.77% or 0.98 to $54.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.59% or 0.37 to hit $62.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1319.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.05% to 10.9042, while USD/MAD rose 0.20% to 9.5326.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 95.540.
