Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Chemicals and Holding Companies sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.19% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR), which rose 9.09% or 11.00 points to trade at 132.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Micro Data SA (CSE:MIC) added 8.71% or 54.90 points to end at 685.00 and Salafin (CSE:SLF) was up 7.14% or 40.00 points to 600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:RDS), which fell 3.73% or 3.39 points to trade at 87.61 at the close. Disty Technologies SA (CSE:DYT) declined 3.19% or 10.00 points to end at 303.00 and Alliances (CSE:ADI) was down 2.63% or 14.00 points to 518.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 30 to 28 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.09% or 11.00 to 132.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 4.32% or 3.19 to $77.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 4.02% or 3.09 to hit $80.01 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 35.01 to trade at $2,725.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.16% to 10.35, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.03% to 10.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 109.35.
