Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Forestry & Paper, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:STR), which rose 9.99% or 4.46 points to trade at 49.11 at the close. Meanwhile, Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:SNA) added 9.99% or 1.23 points to end at 13.54 and Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM) was up 9.98% or 53.90 points to 593.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zellidja S.A (CSE:ZDJ), which fell 5.88% or 5.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) declined 2.91% or 0.90 points to end at 30.00 and Involys (CSE:INV) was down 2.14% or 1.88 points to 86.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 33 to 17 and 9 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.20% or 1.72 to $76.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.90% or 1.54 to hit $79.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.45% or 36.20 to trade at $2,528.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.09% to 10.75, while USD/MAD rose 0.12% to 9.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 102.58.
