Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Food Producers & Processors and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Maghreb Oxygene (CSE:MOX), which rose 5.39% or 11.00 points to trade at 215.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM) added 4.81% or 4.95 points to end at 107.95 and S2M (CSE:S2M) was up 4.18% or 7.10 points to 177.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CDM (CSE:CDM), which fell 5.98% or 52.00 points to trade at 818.00 at the close. Cartier Saada (CSE:CRS) declined 5.94% or 1.90 points to end at 30.10 and Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE:RDS) was down 2.06% or 1.60 points to 75.99.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 26 to 17 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.93% or 0.76 to $82.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.64% or 0.54 to hit $85.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 14.85 to trade at $2,382.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.06% to 10.65, while USD/MAD fell 0.13% to 9.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 104.73.
