Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction & Building Materials, Oil & Gas and Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:SNA), which rose 6.13% or 0.98 points to trade at 16.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Disty Technologies SA (CSE:DYT) added 3.05% or 7.50 points to end at 253.00 and Auto Hall (CSE:ATH) was up 3.04% or 1.89 points to 64.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delta Holding S.A (CSE:DHO), which fell 2.60% or 1.39 points to trade at 52.02 at the close. CTM (CSE:CTM) declined 2.12% or 15.10 points to end at 698.80 and Douja Prom Addoha (CSE:ADH) was down 2.11% or 0.80 points to 37.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 22 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.47% or 1.00 to $69.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.39% or 1.00 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.44 to trade at $2,662.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.05% to 10.52, while USD/MAD fell 0.16% to 10.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 106.33.
