Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Forestry & Paper, Software & Computer Services and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Med Paper (CS:PAP), which rose 6.23% or 1.29 points to trade at 22.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Taslif (CS:TSF1) added 5.98% or 1.40 points to end at 24.82 and Micro Data SA (CS:MIC) was up 2.97% or 7.50 points to 260.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR), which fell 8.83% or 7.94 points to trade at 82.01 at the close. Auto Hall (CS:AUTO) declined 3.85% or 3.00 points to end at 75.00 and Lydec (CS:LYD) was down 3.03% or 15.00 points to 480.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 16 to 14 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.19% or 0.10 to $52.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.10% or 0.06 to hit $61.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 2.35 to trade at $1289.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.06% to 10.9067, while USD/MAD rose 0.31% to 9.4733.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 95.018.
