Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Insurance and Construction & Building Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Colorado (CS:COL), which rose 7.97% or 5.30 points to trade at 71.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) added 6.49% or 100 points to end at 1640 and Atlanta (CS:ATL) was up 6.15% or 4.00 points to 69.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC), which fell 9.99% or 6.97 points to trade at 62.83 at the close. Snep (CS:SNP) declined 8.56% or 44.00 points to end at 470.00 and Med Paper (CS:PAP) was down 6.35% or 1.39 points to 20.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.99% or 6.97 to 62.83. Shares in Snep (CS:SNP) fell to 52-week lows; falling 8.56% or 44.00 to 470.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.17% or 0.12 to $69.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $78.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 7.40 to trade at $1199.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.12% to 10.9390, while USD/MAD rose 0.19% to 9.4448.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 95.35.
