Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Materials, Telecoms Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC rose 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (MX:OMAB), which rose 4.04% or 5.140 points to trade at 132.400 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (MX:ASURB) added 2.28% or 8.61 points to end at 386.54 and El Puerto De Liverpool Sab De CV (MX:LIVEPOLC1) was up 1.59% or 2.20 points to 140.99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were VOLARIS A (MX:VOLARA), which fell 2.40% or 0.36 points to trade at 14.61 at the close. Nemak SAB de CV (MX:NEMAKA) declined 2.35% or 0.36 points to end at 14.93 and Grupo Elektra , S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:ELEKTRA) was down 1.67% or 13.75 points to 811.16.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 177 to 112 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.22% or 2.60 to $1203.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.96% or 0.66 to hit $69.34 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.91% or 0.71 to trade at $78.76 a barrel.
USD/MXN was down 0.15% to 18.8101, while EUR/MXN fell 0.24% to 21.9517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 94.19.
