Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.65% or 0.30 to $45.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.14% or 0.07 to hit $48.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.09% or 1.00 to trade at $1148.30 a troy ounce.
SGD/MYR was up 0.66% to 3.0693, while USD/MYR rose 0.53% to 4.3025.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.24% at 97.13.
