Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 1.27% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 3.18% or 700.0 points to trade at 22700.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 3.10% or 720.0 points to end at 23960.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 2.58% or 400.0 points to 15900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 1.00% or 100.0 points to trade at 9900.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.76% or 0.3 points to end at 16.7 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) was down 0.29% or 5.0 points to 1740.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 10 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 2.19% or 2.60 to $116.38 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.58% or 16.00 to hit $2764.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.18% or 2.00 to trade at $1117.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 3282.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.79% to 820.79.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.00% at 99.61.
