Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 3.02%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 0.90% or 380.00 points to trade at 42,550.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 0.84% or 260.00 points to end at 31,090.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 0.03% or 20.00 points to 79,000.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 6.59% or 63.20 points to trade at 896.00 at the close. Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) declined 6.02% or 2,090.00 points to end at 32,600.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 5.09% or 3,950.00 points to 73,600.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 428 to 47 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.93% or 0.73 to $79.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.67% or 0.55 to hit $83.03 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.75 to trade at $1,964.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.37% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 1.25% to 4.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 101.08.
