Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 2.55% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Strauss Group (TASE:STRS), which rose 0.10% or 8.00 points to trade at 8,192.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 3,372.00 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 0.12% or 80.00 points to 65,770.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 11.54% or 651.00 points to trade at 4,991.00 at the close. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) declined 5.93% or 411.00 points to end at 6,519.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 4.65% or 39.20 points to 804.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 404 to 93 and 25 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.14% or 0.16 to $115.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.35% or 0.42 to hit $118.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.75% or 31.80 to trade at $1,851.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.51% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS rose 1.61% to 3.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.36% at 103.51.
