Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.72%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 0.75% or 180.00 points to trade at 24,100.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 0.28% or 260.00 points to end at 94,250.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 0.05% or 30.00 points to 65,970.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which fell 4.34% or 225.00 points to trade at 4,960.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) declined 3.76% or 1,740.00 points to end at 44,510.00 and Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) was down 3.51% or 66.00 points to 1,813.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.14% or 0.12 to $86.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.10% or 0.09 to hit $90.74 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.20 to trade at $2,307.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.07% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.04.
