Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.64%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 1.09% or 54.00 points to trade at 4,993.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 0.79% or 190.00 points to end at 24,250.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was up 0.35% or 40.00 points to 11,610.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 4.03% or 520.00 points to trade at 12,370.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 3.51% or 66.00 points to end at 1,815.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) was down 3.32% or 206.00 points to 6,008.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 353 to 103 and 83 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.43% or 1.23 to $84.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.09% or 0.99 to hit $89.49 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 6.95 to trade at $2,355.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.02% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 105.31.
