Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Banking and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.51%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 1.86% or 460.00 points to trade at 25,210.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 0.57% or 60.00 points to end at 10,630.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 49,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 3.57% or 169.00 points to trade at 4,561.00 at the close. Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) declined 3.23% or 121.00 points to end at 3,624.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 2.97% or 87.00 points to 2,840.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 336 to 133 and 70 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) unchanged to all time highs; unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to 49,300.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.68% or 1.97 to $75.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.53% or 1.99 to hit $80.79 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.05 to trade at $2,068.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.53% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS rose 0.72% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.25.
