Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which rose 3.63% or 660 points to trade at 18840 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) added 3.42% or 1390 points to end at 42010 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) was up 1.23% or 420 points to 34610 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which fell 4.08% or 93 points to trade at 2186 at the close. Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) declined 3.26% or 1680 points to end at 49820 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 2.88% or 1620 points to 54540.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 133 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) fell to 3-years lows; down 3.26% or 1680 to 49820.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.66% or 1.13 to $66.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.36% or 0.27 to hit $75.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1302.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.58% to 3.5949, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 4.1588.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 94.68.
