Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 3.69% or 61.00 points to trade at 1,712.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 3.23% or 67.00 points to end at 2,142.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 3.09% or 1,330.00 points to 44,410.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 7.07% or 3,060.00 points to trade at 40,220.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 5.77% or 4,590.00 points to end at 75,010.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 1.87% or 280.00 points to 14,660.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 171 and 102 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.58% or 0.47 to $80.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.59% or 0.50 to hit $84.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 13.05 to trade at $2,472.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.13% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.07% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.65.
