Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Banking, Communication and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 3.24% or 46.00 points to trade at 1,466.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.94% or 182.00 points to end at 6,369.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 2.43% or 190.00 points to 7,995.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 3.97% or 2,810.00 points to trade at 67,990.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 3.03% or 38.00 points to end at 1,218.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) was down 2.88% or 1,990.00 points to 67,000.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 296 to 174 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.76% or 2.39 to $88.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.25% or 2.11 to hit $95.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 20.50 to trade at $1,774.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.67% to 3.41, while EUR/ILS fell 0.26% to 3.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.70% at 106.25.
