Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL), which rose 1.12% or 460 points to trade at 41430 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 1.12% or 220 points to end at 19900 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.02% or 11 points to 1091 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 4.25% or 19.0 points to trade at 428.0 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 2.31% or 129 points to end at 5445 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was down 1.95% or 43 points to 2165.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 214 to 165 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.93% or 0.51 to $54.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.58% or 0.37 to hit $63.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1228.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.29% to 3.7382, while EUR/ILS rose 0.50% to 4.2644.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 96.395.
