Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Biomed and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 2.56% or 123.00 points to trade at 4,922.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 1.49% or 71.00 points to end at 4,828.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 0.81% or 21.00 points to 2,626.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 3.68% or 1,110.00 points to trade at 29,040.00 at the close. Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) declined 3.12% or 340.00 points to end at 10,560.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was down 2.39% or 290.00 points to 11,830.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 182 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.53% or 0.42 to $79.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.07% or 0.06 to hit $82.86 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 7.80 to trade at $2,134.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.59, while EUR/ILS rose 0.51% to 3.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 103.59.
