Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Banking and Communication sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 2.26% or 650.00 points to trade at 29,450.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) added 1.51% or 53.00 points to end at 3,562.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was up 1.37% or 160.00 points to 11,850.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 3.33% or 28.00 points to trade at 814.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 2.63% or 153.00 points to end at 5,673.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was down 2.22% or 3,210.00 points to 141,080.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 261 to 177 and 101 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.82% or 0.68 to $82.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.69% or 0.61 to hit $87.41 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 7.80 to trade at $2,346.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.64% to 3.80, while EUR/ILS rose 0.79% to 4.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 105.61.
