Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 2.90% or 31 points to trade at 1100 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 2.77% or 290 points to end at 10750 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 1.94% or 126 points to 6630 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 3.62% or 30 points to trade at 807 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 2.15% or 1800 points to end at 82000 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was down 2.14% or 1050 points to 48020.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 294 to 107 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) fell to all time lows; losing 3.62% or 30 to 807.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.40% or 2.16 to $61.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.73% or 1.97 to hit $70.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.55 to trade at $1272.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.5985, while EUR/ILS rose 0.07% to 4.0221.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 97.565.
