Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 1.91% or 580.00 points to trade at 30,930.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 1.67% or 420.00 points to end at 25,500.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 1.64% or 9.00 points to 558.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 6.06% or 200.00 points to trade at 3,100.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 5.72% or 9,130.00 points to end at 150,570.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was down 3.66% or 35.30 points to 929.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 274 to 189 and 48 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.31% or 2.22 to $94.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.06% or 2.05 to hit $97.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.84% or 31.85 to trade at $1,703.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.21% to 3.50, while EUR/ILS rose 0.71% to 3.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.79% at 108.61.
