Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.94% or 1310 points to trade at 34550 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 3.46% or 220 points to end at 6570 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 1.74% or 162 points to 9467 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which fell 4.90% or 127 points to trade at 2465 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 4.38% or 68 points to end at 1486 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was down 3.36% or 34 points to 979.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 269 to 115 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Partner (TA:PTNR) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.38% or 68 to 1486.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.29% or 0.20 to $68.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.65% or 0.48 to hit $74.27 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 8.90 to trade at $1314.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.5974, while EUR/ILS fell 0.16% to 4.3458.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 91.62.
